The Ballad of Mott the Hoople tell the story of one of the UK's most cherished bands, Mott the Hoople, from their origins in 1960s Hereford, discovery and guidance from Island Records' Guy Stevens, to their David Bowie inspired resurrection. The Ballad of Mott the Hoople features interviews and recollections from Ian Hunter, Mick Ralphs, Verden Allen, Dale 'Buffin' Griffin, Ariel Bender and Morgan Fisher, as well as further observations from fan club president Kris Needs, Teenage-fan The Clash's Mick Jones and Roger Taylor from Queen. 

The DVD contains over an hour's bonus material, including footage from Mott's triumphant 2009 reunion, and a twelve-page booklet with liner notes from Morrissey. 

The DVD is compatible with UK/European and US DVD players.
